Q + A

When and where is the wedding?

We’re tying the knot on Sunday, January 25th at 4:00 PM at the unforgettable French Quarter Wedding Chapel; Right after we say, “I do,” the celebration continues with a second line parade at 4:30 PM. We’ll be hitting the streets of New Orleans, music in the air, and everyone on their feet — it’s going to be a moment you won’t want to miss.

Wedding Venue Address

333 Burgundy St, New Orleans, LA 70112

A Little Note About Our Celebration

Our ceremony will be an intimate gathering with space for just 50 of our closest loved ones. However, we want to make sure everyone is part of the celebration! You’re all invited to join us for the Second Line Parade and the Cocktail Party, which will kick off just 30 minutes after the ceremony at the same location. If you didn’t receive an invitation to the ceremony, please know that your presence at the Second Line Parade is incredibly important to us. The parade is a huge part of our celebration, and we can't wait to have everyone there to share in the excitement. Afterward, we’ll keep the party going with the Cocktail Party, and we’re looking forward to celebrating with each and every one of you!

What’s the best way to get to the venue?

We recommend hopping in an Uber or Lyft to keep things easy — no parking stress, no getting lost, and no need to designate a driver. Just sit back, ride in style, and come ready to party.

Is there a dress code?

Cocktail attire with New Orleans Spice! Think sharp, sultry, and ready to strut. Whether it's a bold suit, a slinky dress, or something with a little sparkle, come dressed to turn heads and dance in the street — literally. We’ll be second-lining, so wear shoes you can move in... but make sure they still look good doing it!

What is a Second Line Parade?

A second line parade is a classic New Orleans celebration. After the ceremony, a brass band will lead us through the lively streets of the French Quarter, and you’ll follow as part of the second line. It’s all about dancing, clapping, and feeling the rhythm of the music as we take over the streets with joy and excitement.

Where is the Cocktail Party?

After the second line parade, we’ll stop in front of the historic Old Absinthe House, and the celebration continues just next door in their exclusive Rue Bourbon event space. Walk through the courtyard and head up to the second and third floors. The second floor will feature delicious bites to satisfy your cravings, while both floors will have fully stocked bars to keep the drinks flowing. The third-floor balcony offers a seductive view of Bourbon Street — the perfect spot to enjoy a drink, take in the scene, and let the energy of the city sweep you off your feet.

What’s the weather like in New Orleans during January?

January in New Orleans is simply perfect. Days are comfortably mild at 60°F (16°C), great for strolling through the city, while nights cool down to around 45°F (7°C), ideal for cozying up. With around 5.7 hours of sunshine, the weather sets the stage for an unforgettable celebration.

Do you have a registry?

Instead of a traditional wedding registry, we’re asking for donations to help fund our new home. After the wedding, we’ll be embarking on the exciting journey of finding a place to call our own. Your generous gift will help us create a space where we can build a lifetime of memories, and we truly appreciate any contribution you’re able to make.
